Twilight and Family update

Hello everyone. I have just a brief update. On Friday night I went to see the Twilight movie with friends and family. It was a late showing but worth the wait. We had a blast. Dallin, Syd and EZ got to go to Landon's birthday on Saturday and loved every minute of it. We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and are very excited for family to come over. Rocky unfortunately lost his first CIF game, but we both are enjoying his time off. Well lots of love to everyone.

HB Oilers go to CIF......Sucks..... Oops I mean yeh Rocky!

Hey everyone. Well I just got home from the game and the HB Oilers beat Woodbridge 43 to 3. Though I dreaded this win I truly am extremely happy for Rocky and all the coaches. They worked really hard this season, overcame a lot of injuries and finally made it to the CIF championships. This is a huge win for the coaches and the players as HBHS has not made it to CIF's since 1993. GO OILERS!!!!!!

Well the Gubernick's have finally moved into our home and we are extremely excited and happy. We have already had Kristen, Katie and Trevor over for Dinner. They all, as well as, Bryce were an amazing help to us during the move. We still have part 2 of the move which is the storage unit portion which will take place next weekend. We are looking forward to spending time together with family and eating lots of turkey this Thanksgiving.

Love, The Gubernick's

Our First Official Post

I'll start by sharing a little bit about our family...

My husband, Rocky, is enjoying coaching and teaching his first year at Huntington Beach High School. He will also be starting the masters program at the University of Phoenix as soon as the football season is over. He loves being a dad and is a wonderful husband. He is active in our church and is a very hands on dad to our three children. He works hard to provide and take care of all of us. He enjoys fantasy football, playing sports, and spending time together as a family.

I am enjoying work though it is really crazy right now with the economy, homebuilders have slowed considerably. We have weathered many hard times in the insurance world so this is nothing new. I was given a promotion a little after my return to California (we moved back to California after a few short years in Arizona) and I am now an Assistant Vice President. I am interested to see how things turn out over the next year and what the promotion will bring. I enjoy spending time with my children and date nights with my husband. I enjoy scrapbooking and making our house a home.

Our oldest is Dallin. He is looking forward to playing baseball in the spring with his cousin Kobe. He also will be getting glasses pretty soon, he has his appointment this week. He has adjusted really well to the move to California. He misses his cousins in Arizona, but has enjoyed getting reacquainted with his cousins here. Our big move into our new home is coming up soon and Dallin is looking forward to not having to share a room with his sister, and being able to unpack all his things.

Sydney has also adjusted to the move well, and can not wait to have her own room. She is definitely our little princess and knows this and uses it to her advantage, often. We have been trying desperately to get her into dance but she refuses. She wants to do karate. She may end up being our little tom-boy, which is fine with Rocky. She is a little mommie to Ezra and a big helper to me. She loves her cousins, to swim and loves school!

As for our little devil Ezra... he sure keeps us on our toes. He is in to everything, and I mean everything! The kid can not sit for two seconds and Gina, my sister-in-law, can attest to that. She is very busy with him during the day. He is talking more and has added a few words to his vocabulary which is always fun. The fun one is "Dangit" and then he will put his arm in a fist and with excitement say "YES"! He also enjoys watching football with Daddy, but he gets a little to into it, and starts yelling at the TV. He is a joy and a blessing.

So there you have it, that's our family in a nutshell. We are excited to join the world of blogging and of course spying in on all of you and seeing what you and your families are up to from time to time!
