Here are a few pictures. Dallin enjoyed playing baseball this past spring and Sydey performed "On the Good Ship for her Kindergarten talent show. We had an amazing time at the San Diego Zoo over spring break. Ezra was so excited for the first day of school, haha, at least he wanted to be going to school. He loves getting his backack every morning and walking the kids to school with Dad. The last picture was Halloween. Each of the kids picked their costume and with the exception of Ezra the other two here a few store boght items and home made stuff. my first attempt. (not too bad......good thing it was in the dark!) Well I hope you all are doing well.

LAZY

AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE LAST DATE OF A POST (JANUARY 2009), I HAVE NOT BEEN GOOD ABOUT UPDATING OUR SITE. SO I AM GOING TO DO MY BEST TO START UPDATING AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK.

UPDATE: WELL ROCKY IS IN THE MASTER PROGRAM AT UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX ONLINE AND IT TAKES A LOT OF HIS TIME. HE IS STILL WITH THE YOUNG MEN IN OUR WARD AND LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT. DALLIN IS COMPLETELY INTO NERF GUNS AND CAN NOT GET ENOUGH OF IT. SYDNEY IS MY LITTLE PERFORMER AND HAS A BEAUTIFUL VOICE. EZRA IS MY CUTIE PIE AND IS TALKING MORE AND MORE EACH DAY AND USING WORDS THAT ARE HILARIOUS TO HEAR FROM A 2 YEAR OLD. WELL WE ARE ANXIOUSLY GETTING READY FOR CHRISTMAS TO ARRIVE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO BEING WITH FAMILY. THE KIDS AND I JUST GOT DONE WITH A CHURCH PRODUCTION CALLED CURTAIN UP. DALLIN HAD A LEAD SOLO AS THE ARTFUL DODGER IN "CONSIDER YOURSELF" FROM OLIVER AND SYDNEY WAS ADORABLE IN TWO NUMBERS. UNDER THE BAMBOO TREE AND THE LION SLEEPS, WHICH I WAS ABLE TO BE A PART OF TOO. IT WAS A JOY TO HAVE THE TIME WITH MY KIDS ON THE WEEKENDS AND I ENJOYED GETTING TO KNOW SO MANY PEOPLE IN MY STAKE.

AS FOR ME I CONTINUE TO WORK FOR AON BUT I AM COMMUTING NOW TO THE LA OFFICE. THIS HAS BEEN A CHALLENGE BUT I AM MAKING IT WORK. I THINK FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE IN MY INDUSTRY YOU FIND YOURSELF WITH THE ALL TOO FAMILIAR MANTRA........AT LEAST I HAVE A JOB.......

ALONG WITH NOT POSTING ANYTHING I HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE WITH TAKING PICTURES. WE HAVE SOME FROM HALLOWEEN AND A FEW OTHERS SO I WILL ATTACH THE LATEST AND DO BETTER WITH MY FUTURE POSTS.

FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS, WE WISH YOU ALL THE BEST AS THE HOLIDAY SEASON APPROACHES. WITH MUCH LOVE THE GUBERNICKS.

Gubernick Update

Hey everyone. It has been some time since my last blog. The Gubernicks are doing great. No major changes here. Dallin is starting baseball and is extremely excited. We are busy dealing with Sydney and her sleep walking episodes. Ezra is our little tyrant, and keeps Rocky and I on our toes. As for Rocky he will be starting his Masters program in a few weeks and I am also studying to earn one of my first Insurance designations the A.R.M. . This last month I had the wonderful opportunity of going to Utah for my Nana's funeral. It was a great trip where all of my brothers and sisters were able to attend. Attached are a few photos from my trip. I also attached photos of the kids on Christmas Eve night opening their traditional PJ's. The other photos are of my Brother Kyle's kids. They came to stay with us over the New Year week. We had a blast and the kids loved seeing each other. We hope everyone out there is doing well and wish you all the best. Love - The Gubernicks

Twilight and Family update

Hello everyone. I have just a brief update. On Friday night I went to see the Twilight movie with friends and family. It was a late showing but worth the wait. We had a blast. Dallin, Syd and EZ got to go to Landon's birthday on Saturday and loved every minute of it. We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and are very excited for family to come over. Rocky unfortunately lost his first CIF game, but we both are enjoying his time off. Well lots of love to everyone.

HB Oilers go to CIF......Sucks..... Oops I mean yeh Rocky!

Hey everyone. Well I just got home from the game and the HB Oilers beat Woodbridge 43 to 3. Though I dreaded this win I truly am extremely happy for Rocky and all the coaches. They worked really hard this season, overcame a lot of injuries and finally made it to the CIF championships. This is a huge win for the coaches and the players as HBHS has not made it to CIF's since 1993. GO OILERS!!!!!!

Well the Gubernick's have finally moved into our home and we are extremely excited and happy. We have already had Kristen, Katie and Trevor over for Dinner. They all, as well as, Bryce were an amazing help to us during the move. We still have part 2 of the move which is the storage unit portion which will take place next weekend. We are looking forward to spending time together with family and eating lots of turkey this Thanksgiving.

Love, The Gubernick's

Our First Official Post

I'll start by sharing a little bit about our family...

My husband, Rocky, is enjoying coaching and teaching his first year at Huntington Beach High School. He will also be starting the masters program at the University of Phoenix as soon as the football season is over. He loves being a dad and is a wonderful husband. He is active in our church and is a very hands on dad to our three children. He works hard to provide and take care of all of us. He enjoys fantasy football, playing sports, and spending time together as a family.

I am enjoying work though it is really crazy right now with the economy, homebuilders have slowed considerably. We have weathered many hard times in the insurance world so this is nothing new. I was given a promotion a little after my return to California (we moved back to California after a few short years in Arizona) and I am now an Assistant Vice President. I am interested to see how things turn out over the next year and what the promotion will bring. I enjoy spending time with my children and date nights with my husband. I enjoy scrapbooking and making our house a home.

Our oldest is Dallin. He is looking forward to playing baseball in the spring with his cousin Kobe. He also will be getting glasses pretty soon, he has his appointment this week. He has adjusted really well to the move to California. He misses his cousins in Arizona, but has enjoyed getting reacquainted with his cousins here. Our big move into our new home is coming up soon and Dallin is looking forward to not having to share a room with his sister, and being able to unpack all his things.

Sydney has also adjusted to the move well, and can not wait to have her own room. She is definitely our little princess and knows this and uses it to her advantage, often. We have been trying desperately to get her into dance but she refuses. She wants to do karate. She may end up being our little tom-boy, which is fine with Rocky. She is a little mommie to Ezra and a big helper to me. She loves her cousins, to swim and loves school!

As for our little devil Ezra... he sure keeps us on our toes. He is in to everything, and I mean everything! The kid can not sit for two seconds and Gina, my sister-in-law, can attest to that. She is very busy with him during the day. He is talking more and has added a few words to his vocabulary which is always fun. The fun one is "Dangit" and then he will put his arm in a fist and with excitement say "YES"! He also enjoys watching football with Daddy, but he gets a little to into it, and starts yelling at the TV. He is a joy and a blessing.

So there you have it, that's our family in a nutshell. We are excited to join the world of blogging and of course spying in on all of you and seeing what you and your families are up to from time to time!
